I was wondering if we could get a section dedicated to great finds. It would be anything from just a great sale, to unique ferret supplies or ideas. I am always on the look out for new bedding ideas and styles and CONSTANTLY checking for sales and whatnot.

yeah i have a problem with the pictures too... i dont think its a computer savvy thing i think its a proboard problem. i find that i have to go to a quick reply in order to upload a picture.. and if iam just regular reply, or and edit, i would have to go to a random board, doing a quick reply/ upload picture, then copy and paste the code... just because A LOT of the time... when i upload a picture it doesnt work, nothing happens.

well maybe there can just be a thread of cute videos? idk... i just have a lot of cute videos, i started uploading them on youtube lol i have like NO views! haha

Attachments have been disabled for this board as we couldn't access some of the medical files we'd downloaded for the forum due to all the pics everyone attached rather than using an in between site like photobucket. So I disabled attachments for all but admin.

I was wondering if you could create a section for ferret sitters? I can't seem to find one in my area. Look around your area for Breeders. They often will ferret sit to offset costs from breeding which is expensive. I use PVO Ferrets when we go on vacation. She is in Ohio and runs a vacation ferret camp which is wonderful and we feel so safe with her. She knows about ferret health and medical issues and has access to a good vet. You can also call some local vets or rescue shelters and see if they have a list available of reliable sitters. Sherry will make the final call for a board on ferret sitting. One suggestion is to make sure you get references from other pet owners. We have had one or two sitters reported who simply did not give their 'customers' proper care. |

My problem with setting up something like this is people not being available, moving, positions changing, or as poncesmom states, simply not providing the level of care you thing they should have.
Best bet is to talk to vets and local shelters. Also talk to other people who use pet sitters. If you have pet stores they may know of someone.

Hello I'm a newbie, not even new but trying to be fairly shortly!!! I'm not sure how to use boards, looked for section for breeders and could not find one. My question is besides marshall farms, I live in prairie view tx where do I find a good breeder that will deliver or close to pick up?
