Then we just need to work at getting the kibble out of there I'm fairly sure that's causing some of the funky stools. It's definitely causing Zuko's seedy stools. Also, are any of them shedding? That would cause the mucousy poops that Aang has had. Fur passing through is wrapped in mucous. How much of the necks are they eating now? They should be able to finish most of it. They will leave behind larger bits of the vertebrae, but that's it. Also- time for another protein Can you get cornish hen where you are, or duck necks? Those are two more good bone meals. Turkey would be a good non bone meal, as would pork, goat, lamb.

I will work on getting him to eat less kibble and eat more soup then you are most likely right. I can't tell if they are shedding any more than usual... they haven't been grooming excessively or anything. I'm just used to finding fur everywhere because of my two dogs. The mucousy poop looks sort of clear and jelly like though, like there's nothing in it. It is yellowish/brownish though
They are eating the entire neck but they leave most of the vertebrae chunks behind.

So I went to this market store that sells local food and meats and they had a bunch of neat stuff! I got bags of wing tips, containers with ground beef and pork liver/heart, some lamb heart/liver, and a couple chicken backs. I'm not sure what proportion the liver/heart ground is so I asked them to get hearts for me hopefully they will be more reliable than the other place I was trying.
Any suggestions on what to do with the liver/heart ground stuff to make it palatable? I don't have any regular muscle meat right now so I thought I'd try adding a bit of water and eggshell powder then see if they go for it.
I did call a health food store and they have taurine capsules. Would it just be something I'd open up and dump in their food as a powder? What kind of dosage would be best?

Sounds like we are ready to take off (dance) With the liver/heart you can try offering it with a bit of oil on it. If they refuse it then try pureeing it and adding in 1/2 heavy cream or goat's milk well mixed in. You will likely have to do a transition with the soup, dabbing the noses, etc. With the taurine caps, use 500 mg capsules, 1/4 per ferret per day since you now have access to heart, even if it IS ground. With no heart, one full capsule per ferret per day.

So I haven't picked up the taurine capsules yet Here's my weekly check in. 1. Ferret's name: Aang 2. Ferret's weight: 1.15kg 3. Eating around 2-3 oz per day plus some kibble, plus some soup 4. not sure about his stool 5. Activity levels: good 1. Ferret's name: Sokka 2. Ferret's weight: 1.1kg 3. Eating around 2-3 oz per day plus kibble, really likes the soup too 4. Normal stools as far as I've seen. 5. Activity levels: good. 1. Ferret's name: Zuko 2. Ferret's weight: 1.17kg 3. Eating around 2-3 teaspoons of mush and then kibble the rest of the time 4. Soft seedy stools 5. Activity levels: good Week's menu in review... Monday the 12th- 2 teaspoons of soup AM, 1 teaspoon Pm; 4 ounces of beef/wing, kibble Tuesday- 1 oz of neck, 1 teaspoon of soup AM, about 1/2 PM, kibble Wednesday- 1 oz of neck, 2 ounces of organ mix, kibble, tablespoon of pumpkin Thursday - couple teaspoons of organ mix, kibble Friday- 4 ounces of wing/beef, kibble Saturday- couple ounces of neck, kibble Sunday - couple ounces of neck, kibble, couple teaspoons of organ soup Monday the 19th- couple teaspoons of organ soup, couple ounces of neck, kibble Aang and Sokka really love the organ mush mixed with the cream now. I tried adding the cream, then ferretone and kibble powder and Zuko still hates it so we're kind of a step backward from him eating the other stuff. I've basically been forcing it on him, dabbing it on his nose, scruffing him and making him eat it, putting it on my finger then rubbing it on his gums. I leave no kibble over night then try to feed him in the morning, then I put some kibble back. there's none left by night when I get home so it's probably been gone a while so I try to feed him again before putting out a tiny bit of kibble for the evening. I have to scruff him less now but it may take a while like with the other stuff to get him used to the taste and even just lick some off the spoon. I let Aang and Sokka eat from the dish while I'm feeding Zuko so I know they're getting liver/heart a couple teaspoons a day. Do you think that will cover their taurine for now?

Yes they all have access to kibble twice a day and do eat some. The heart/liver/cream/kibble/water mix is being fed to them in a couple teaspoons a day as well.
Update, I just went to do my night feeding for Zuko of the organ soup, I added more water this time and after I forced some on him he started to eat it right up! He must prefer it really liquidy. He ate so much I lost count, at least 4 teaspoons if not more.

Don't have a lot to report. Have been slowly thickening the liver/heart/cream/water/eggshell powder mixture. Ran out of some of my meats so I need to do some thawing out and repacking of some things. Have been feeding morning/night as much as possible but last week a few times I only did night feeding. Having kibble out during the day doesn't seem to stop Aang and Sokka from eating they get excited when I come in with the food and completely ignore the kibble.
Here's my weekly check in. 1. Ferret's name: Aang 2. Ferret's weight: 1.26kg 3. Eating around 2-3 oz per day plus some kibble, plus some soup 4. nothing to report 5. Activity levels: good
1. Ferret's name: Sokka 2. Ferret's weight: 1.12kg 3. Eating around 2-3 oz per day plus kibble, really likes the soup too 4. good 5. Activity levels: good.
1. Ferret's name: Zuko 2. Ferret's weight: 1.21kg 3. Eating around 4-7 spoonfuls of the mix per day in separate meals, then kibble the rest of the time 4. Soft stools 5. Activity levels: good

Oh excellent! Okay- I'd like you to try something. Remove the kibble for 24 hours and see how they all do.

Things are still going as normal... only a bit of kibble was in the dish this morning so most of the day after that was eaten there was none. Zuko ate up a whole bunch of the mush, I'm estimating 5 teaspoons. I am not going to offer kibble until Thursday night or Friday morning to see if he'll eat more.

Good plan! Let me know how he does. Right now I need you to post in on their progress every 2nd to 3rd day, so we can progress them as quickly as possible.

That's what's referred to as 'bird seed" poop. It means it went through his system too quickly and didn't digest properly. While this does happen from time to time, and more frequently during a diet switch, if it becomes the norm it could indicate a sensitivity.
