OK here is the story. We got Oscar in early January, he is a very sweet beautiful sable. We fell in love him instantly and took him home that night. We had no problems with just him. In February we adopted him a brother cause he would throw fits in the cage. valentine was gotten on valentines day of course. This is when the issues started to occur. My partner gets extreme contact dermatitis allergy from valentine, it does happen when she holds Oscar, now since we got Valentine but were pretty sure it from his oils being on Oscar, since it never happened till valentine came to stay. We got ellemet creme and it makes it go away but it keeps coming back. Its getting worse lately and seems to be their in a low form if she just goes in the office with the ferret cage. We have tried washing their bedding daily and cleaning them with a wash cloth daily. It doesn't seem to help. We are wondering if u think its possible to sesperate them and find a wonderful loving home just for valentine or if the seperation would depress them both too much. Advice is much needed cause she loves them so much and its breaking her heart to not b able to go anywhere near them. Thank you

They are likely bonded but I guess you could try moving them to different parts of the house for a few weeks & see how they do without each other & be able to tell if she will continue to react to Oscar now that the reaction has started.
