Ok we are finally home! Was a 12 hour trip total, his left adrenal was pretty enlarged 2.2cm x 1.5cm and wrapped around some stuff but fully removed, his right looked normal and was left, his prostate was bilaterally enlarged but no abscesses or cysts, his bladder was bruised but ok. He's pretty groggy still but he did eat a little canned food watered down for me.

On the way home his belly, sorry for the crappy shot Wed's bills $680 Todays bill $900 Gas $180 Toys from Petco for when he's feeling better $10 Having my baby home=priceless! He's worth another year of me paying down debt but he is now officially my most expensive ferret EVER. You could tell the tech didn't want to tell me the total and the worst part is the rest of the ferrets, the dogs and him for a recheck will be back next Friday and I'll spend just as much. Although I had planned for that bill. This one just remaxed out one of the credit cards.

Yeah, but it's pretty clean looking and he's eaten for me, he's just so worn out, hopefully his recovery goes complication free and fast! When we had one done on Precious she was back to her normal self amazingly fast and he's a strong little guy obviously. I've got him set up downstairs in the big dog crate besides me and he's just totally zonked out.

Also they gave him an antibiotic shot and clavamox to start, but they are culturing his urine to make sure that's what we should be using. For the good news, his blood glucose and kidney function were both normal.

Oh, I'm so glad that he's at home. That incision looks good. You will be amazed at how fast that fur grows back. Give the little one a hug and tell him to get better. ciao

Woke him up to get some food into him before I hit the sack, he was so completely out of it but once he figured out it was food time perked up and ate all I'd brought, still the canned food. I did leave a raw snack in for him in case he wakes up and get hungry before I get back down to check on him. I can't believe how well he ate and then he pretty much passed out as soon as he was done. Poor baby. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Got up early this morning to check on him, he hadn't touched the raw so gave him some more canned, he ate and then decided he was going to run around, let him do that for a bit and gave him his pain shot and put him back to bed. Just fed him again now and same thing, he wants to run around! He's feeling better for sure, me on the other hand, I could use some more rest.
