;D Cricket Massacre. I think he just likes anything that moves, and anything he can eat (Fatty McChubs!). If it does both? Even Better!

Massacre is right, there are legs everywhere lol! He looked unsure at first, then once he tasted one he got excited lol. Could they not jump out of the tub? Bc crickets really creep me out, but id love to try that! I just don't want them in my room lol.

Kenai is such a good boy - and that is great enrichment How does Koda feel about crickets?

I love the way he looks up at one point in the beginning, like "Mom, what is up with these things? What am I supposed to do with them?" Looks like he had a great time.

I wuv Kenai! He is soooo dang precious. I also have the same question as maddy. Can they jump out of the tub? Also, did Kenai ever have crickets before or was this his first exposure?

The big ones can probably get out. I had one get close but he didn't quite make it. I don't think smaller ones would be able to get out. These were very Large crickets. Yes, it was Kenai's first exposure to crickets. you can see his eyes light up when he realizes they are edible and he just goes nuts going after them after that. ;D Fatty!

Hahahaha, go, Kenai! Yes, these little buggers can jump but for some reason the feeder crickets don't seem to very much. They have to open the lid to the tub they're in at PetSmart when we buy them for the mouse and gerbils (they adore hunting crickets, small for mice, large for gerbils/cats). Anyway they must rarely get out of that tub, and it's not as deep as a bathtub. Only once have we ever seen a cricket scuttling around on PetSmart's floor... Be free little cricket, be free!!! *is promptly eaten by a dog* o.o We always put 2-3 in the tub for Forest, our very big kitten, and he can take care of them all without them getting out.

They may not be as hoppy as wild crickets, but in my experience they jump around a LOT. Man, when I had my geckos... *shakes head* They escaped all of the time and good luck ever catching the jumpy things! They were also hard to grab out of the container and would jump out of you did not grab them fast enough.

We feed them just about every week to our small animals, ty very much and the bigger ones are jumpier than the smaller ones. I'm just saying bathtubs are easier for the bigger ones, or TRYING to say that.

I love watching Kenai hunt...but....had to turn the volume down. The crunch the bug made, actually made me gag! I'm special, been raw/whole prey feeding for years but the sound of a bug getting squished or crunched on.... blech!
