I was back to dabbing soup on their noses yesterday. Trying to get them to eat beef. They've never had it before and are not impressed. So now I'm doing a switch along with my mentees

Not a problem, so long as they are eating and you are tracking their weight. Update when you can. Life often gets in the way.

UPDATE:
Okay, so Izzy is NOT a fan of Pork…or Beef for that matter. I tried them both on her and Lucy. Due to myself being absent at home lately for reasons out of my control….Someone did not do a very good job keeping up Izzy and Lucy’s switch. Ziva and Jane were all good due to pre-prepped meals and our posted schedule… Izzy and Lucy were given soup and kibble but I am not totally sure how much of each. Not too thrilled about this entire scenario.. but I just have to get them back on track! Which hasn't been awful so far. I totally apologize to you, and to my little fuzzes, for backtracking AGAIN here. I am very committed to switching them, there were just some things I couldn’t control.
And all my girls seem to be happy and healthy!

looks good. What is the consistency of the soup these days? Do you think they might be ready for you to start introducing some slivers or ground meat to the soup?

Soup is medium thickness. I will try it, and see how it goes. Which would you recommend more so: ground or slivers?

I prefer slivers. I find too many ferrants lean on the convenience of ground and this stage can take longer because of that. Just cut them up as small as you can and if they eat them, slowly increase the size over a two week period. Pieces longer in one dimension are better than roundish shaped pieces (easier for them to eat).

Okay, that makes sense... Maybe that's why Ziva and Jane had a brief hesitancy to eat the chunks after eating ground?

Izzy & Lucy: I tried the slivers. Izzy will just lick them…even if I’m holding them. She will lick them but won’t chew!I believe she prefers turkey so I’m going to keep her on that and see how it goes. Lucy, as long as they are small enough will gnaw on them for a while. Which is good for now at least. And they do seem to be dropping weight...which should be normal right now anyway. Okay, Lucy dropped so much weight last time... I don't think it'll be the same because she seems to be slowly dropping it.. But we shall see!
