I love taking my ferrets for walks, however i' m afraid to walk them in my own neighborhood because i see them spraying that gross pesticide everywhere as if it were water comming out of a hose. I' am also convinced that this neighborhood kills pets because of some sort of environmental factor (new neighborhood, constant construction) so i avoid taking them out here (long story, basically most of the animals that came here died within a year of liver failure, including my still very young 9 year old dog).
I was wonering if it is ok to walk them here? Is the pesticide a threat? I obviously wouldn't walk them on the soaked pesticide ground, id wait a few days, but i' am still concerned. It would just be more convenient to walk them here.
Also, i asked this before and never got a response, but the only way for me to make a thread is in the GUEST Board... is this correct? is there another way to make a thread?

I don't know that I'd chance it. As for starting a thread, the "new topic" button is on the right hand side, sometimes have way down the page.

They are very sensitive to outside toxins, even EO's are considered toxic. No, I would not consider it safe in the area. I would take them to a safe place away from the area.

Keep an eye on poops. Sometimes things like giardia can be contracted via stale pools of water.
