Hi, I could use some general thoughts.
For several months I have been trying to improve the diet of my four (Three hobs and a Jill) i tried a raw meat diet (home produce) with varied success I found a lot of patients required all thought will happily eat cooked meat. When my lot stay at the rescue I volunteer for wether it is for a weekend or a week they eat a whole prey diet with no complaints - your guess is as good as mine I guess they know they are on to a good thing with me there soft human.
However there has been several issues, my mum is not happy with me taking up lots of room in the freezer (I am looking into a little pet freezer) but additionally I have a muscular disorder which means that I need to make things as easy as possible. Producing a bulk load of frozen home made raw food but the space issue is compromising that.
i have been looking into per-processed 'pet food' with a high quantity and preferable quality of meat. I tried a Swedish brand called Bozita (the cat food range) although it had good reviews, reasonable backdown it was essentially a basic cat food, if a good one. It smelled like cat food (which my mum hates - the smell of processed wet pet foods), looked like you are rage cat food and certainly did nothing for there poops and was hit and miss in terms of there tastes.
I have now found a product called Rint (a raw dog food) if mixed with taurine and a calcium (apart from my Jill the others won't go near bones at home) what do you all think.
i would really like to get them off the kibble mix.
Thank you
