Please meet a selection of adoptable ferrets at PetValu, 927 the Queensway Avenue, Toronto on April 20 - 21. Ferrets will be conducting interviews for prospective forever parents from 11am-5pm on Saturday & from 12 noon to 4 pm on Sunday. Since 1994, The Ferret Aid Society has answered the call of ferrets in need. Unwanted family pets are surrendered to us privately or thru local Animal Control shelters. Our shelter provides a stopover for these fuzzies until permanent homes can be found for them. Not sure if a ferret is the right pet for you? Not finished your research? Experienced ferret owners will be available to answer your questions. Please visit our website www.ferretaid.org for adoption policy details. You can't change the world but imagine how you could change the life of one animal. Hope to see you there.

I've often heard the old phrase that "you may not be able to change the world, but for this one animal- you CAN change his/her entire world". It's so true. Please consider adopting!

I was just thinking how cute Noah was and loved the way his personality sounded in the description. I was thinking I wish I was closer so I could adopt him then I read he has passed away. My heart just sunk. Poor wee boy. I got attached to him reading the blurb about him. How crazy is that....

I adopted all of mine from Ferret Aid, great people. I usually try to drop by the Adoptathons with the girls for a visit.

I've worked with them a couple of times with some rescues. Caring people. You know it's really weird though, I've never met any of them. Talked more than a few times with Randy on the phone, email. Never in person. She and I used to chat up on email years ago. I would be sitting medicating sickies and she would be waiting for a wee one coming out of anaesthetic. She talked me back into ferrets after I lost my one wee girlie to a lousy surgeon. ciao

I haven't met Randy either but I have met Debra, Noreen and Katrina. Noreen is the one who approved my adoptions.

All three of our ferrets are "Rescue" or "Adopt". We love them all...!! I wouldn't have it any other way.
