Hi everyone a lot of you already know me lol my name is Bev ( crazylady ) I work show breed and I am an international ferret judge from England at the moment I am owned by 94 ferrets 3 dogs 2 parrots a bearded dragon 2 gekos and some fish lol plus four human kids and an ex husband ( who wont go away lol ) I have been owned by ferrets for 43 years and I have fed whole prey/ raw meat diet for all of those years ( as did my father and grandfather before me ) looking forward to meeting you all take care bye for now

Sophie Ann bite!??!?! NEVER!!!  I can't wait to hear stories of your chaos...because with 94 fuzz it's got to be chaotic there!!! It may take awhile..but I fully expect, and I'm sure there's a bunch of us..., to see pictures of all of your fuzz!!! |

Wow 94 ferrets!!!! Welcome to the forum. My intro to the idea of feeding raw came about from watching some pet shows from the UK. Totally fascinated me that ferrets didn't have to eat kibble,lol.

Thank you all for your kind welcome it makes me smile to see this board I remember when I first came on her 14 years ago I was classed as a cannibal and was also told I should be reported for feeding my ferrets that stuff!lol as soon as I mentioned I fed raw meat and whole prey lol ( those were the good old days of raisins and fruit treats lol ) take care bye for now

wow - its awesome to have you here! I have to ask, about how much meat you go through in a day with that many??  Welcome! I like your screen name haha. I've been told I'm "cruel" for feeding raw, too

Hi at a rough estimate I get through 17-17 1/2 pound per day depending on time of year ( less in spring/ summer ) hobs eat more than jills lol males go through 3-4 oz jills 2-3oz lol that is for cubed meat a rabbit for example can feed anywhere from 10-12 depending which way it is portioned ( ribcage head and two front legs will feed group of four jills with no waste ) each back leg feeds a male easily and back is split into six pieces so it doesn't take a lot of adult rabbits to feed my lot lol and they work for them and provide them free! take care bye for now

LoL I guess yoru talking about matlock and the guys lol I have no idea how to post pics and most of them are stored in my e mail folders if you send me your e mail sherry I will forward them on to you and you can post them for me lol take care bye for now
