Okay we are going to start trying to collect scientific articles and such that support raw diets. There aren't a lot out there because kibble companies don't want to fund research that doesn't support their product. Naturally.  Anyways, I know there are articles, scientific articles written by veterinarians, andother sources scattered here and there. IF you have any, please post them here! thewholisticvet.com/?p=217 |

I have a little question... but I do not know where to ask it... may I ask what is the AVMA? I've read some post and always is put it as a bad example (now I see why), but I do not know who are they or what is it.

This is a big problem, as the only ones doing the studies are the ones funding the studies, if a study does not go their way they quit the study or bury the results. They will keep skewing their studies until they get one that supports their products.
No Company will fund a study on a raw diet because their is no profit in it.
Then you get these bull headed vets out their saying there is no evidence to support that a raw diet has any benefit, however they will be quick to point out the cases in witch a poorly executed raw diet has malnourished many ferrets.
That is why forums like this are so important, the results are real experiences buy actual raw feeders that interact with their ferrets everyday. The forum does not charge anything, in fact has an extremely organized volunteer mentor system than runs better than most profiting companies. This forum is biased though, but it is biased based on facts, real world results, improving the quality of life for ferrets, and most importantly not biased on greed.
This is not going to be easy, However I will support it in any way I can

Agreed,the kible companies make lots of💲 that they can't give it up to make a ferret life better. Well my 3 ferrets there coats are softer and shinyer to add on more energy. My cute big curly fry Marshmellow wounld just sleep all the time now he jumps and falls off stuff.
