Hi all, I do apologies for writing my thread in the incorrect section.I signed up to the original board realised later i needed to swap over; I'm now waiting to be approved. But that niggling quest for information has not been satisfied by snooping around the boards so here I am in the guest section.
Tiny bit of background information: I'm female, 22 I currently have moved back home with my parents. I have a ferret designated room at the top of the house.
I am involved with a Ferret Rescue so am well versed on general ferret welfare, and feeding a raw whole prey diet. However it isn't a option whilst I live at home due to the 'views' of one of my parents.
I have four ferrets.
Toby and Samuel - who were bought from a breeder however there is a bit of a back story with regards to there start in life. They are last seasons kits.
Sausage - A foster ferret I failed to return. Around a year or so old.
Sophie - A additional foster ferret I failed to return.
I am completely in love with her she's about 4/5years old was in a dreadful state I call her my little door mouse.
With regards to there experiences of eating a raw diet the only 'problem ferret' is Sausage. My thoughts with regards to him are that it might be a dehydrated raw diet, if it resembles a kibble and could be mixed in with a mix
I know he'll eat. Then we could consider that progress.
So far in my research online this is what I have managed to find as possible options.I could really do with a bit of help on working out if the products I have found are acceptable to feed to my lot.
In advance your support and knowledge is much appreciated.
Warm Regards, Poppy199011

It is my thinking that with a raw diet it makes no difference as to whether it is packaged as a dog food or a cat food.Just need to keep and eye on the ingredience list for any addition which might be unsuitable within a dog fooc mix. Correct ?
