She will go much faster on the switch than your other guys. See if she will just chow down on what you're giving your guys. You may have to get her to try it, once she does she won't touch anything else ciao

My husband was shocked that they were feeding raw! They also had the choice for kibble as well though. I am not sure what the crud that was in the raw bowl was though. It looked nasty.. coming from a person who raw feeds and checks poop all day lol!

Offer her some chicken wings or just a piece cut in half and see what she does. She might actually teach the others to eat too. ciao

Create a feeding den for her. It could be as simple as a cardboard pop can container. Sometimes this will help make her feel more secure and not stash in the litter box. Stashing in the litter box isn't an uncommon pastime ciao

That somehow doesn't surprise me. One thing you can try, take the drumstick part of the wing, smack it a few times with a hammer. Then take some scissors and cut into it making little pieces sticking out all over the place and leave it and see what happens. Your wee baby will eat it, but lets see if it looks enough like the slivers that your other kids will try it. You can also play games with it (tug). In that state they will get bits in their mouth and they might just eat them. ciao

Last night their dinner was chicken wing giblets and liver. The wing was cut small with bone.. until i got to the thicker part of the wing.. i cut some of the meat off of it and put the whole bone in there with some meat in it cut the giblets and liver into chunks.. woke up this morning and it was all gone.. bad part is idk who ate what!!! After waiting a couple hours i went to bed. On the bright side though they ate fresh and not frozen!!! Just wish i could have seen who ate what. Also my husband said he thinks i have been weighing them incorrectly.. he is going to weigh them tonight for me and see if our numbers are close.

Ahh, the problems of having everyone in one cage...who's eating what or not. Now weighing and weighing correctly is going to be very important. Was any of the food stashed in the cage? Hopefully, everyone ate some, but the fact that you have a baby in the cage (furry tummy with teeth) could mean she ate all the food herself and trust me those wee babies can tuck double what your adults will ever dream of eating ciao

There was one bone stashed .. beside the litter box..( Aurora I bet) i hand fed tonight to see who was eating it and they all ate well.10 minutes later ash was gagging and throwing up. He bit me while I was trying to comfort him.. which I am sure was due to stress of getting sick. I am hoping he does not go backwards because of this. I am so proud of them. Ash has been fine since the episode.. wonder if he choked a bit. Sent from my ADR6325 using proboards

He may have tried to eat it too fast, or swallowed a piece that was too large. A stringy piece of skin will have the same result. Hopefully, he will take it all in stride. I'm sorry you got bitten but yes, you assumed right. Upset or sick ferrets often bite...it's not to be taken personally ciao
