If they can't breathe, ie: gasping, pawing at mouth, and/or unconcious, lay them on their back, locate the diaphram at the bottom of the rib cage, and gently push in and up. If this doesn't dislodge the obstruction, do it a little more firmly, until it does. Immediately transport to the vet. m.dummies.com/how-to/content/giving-cpr-to-a-small-dog.html
