I want to know if grinding the whole prey with a grinder is the best way to start. And if making it into some type of duck soup is the way to go. So they can learn to eat raw food.

It all depends on what you want them to wind up eating . You can do complete Raw Meaty Bones(RMB's or frankenprey). You can do a mix of raw and whole prey- that's what the bulk of us do. Or you can feed a total whole prey diet. That would ne the ideal, but it's very expensive! Do you have a blender? You can purée some chicken with a bit of water and start them on that. Or make a soup of chicken, liver, heart, eggshell, all pureed together, and feed that to start Check some of the switching threads in the mentoring section out.

Sounds good .People tend to cook the meat but i don't find that method to be natural .I am sure when cooked the meat must lose nutrition part.

It certainly does! Cooked soupies can definitely have their place with a sick fuzz who isn't as partial to the raw then, or with a bacterial overgrowth, etc. But in general, yes, the meat does lose a LOT of it's nutrients once cooked. If you like, why not apply for a mentor, or even start your own switching thread in the "newbie questions" section.
