I am in need of some guidance. Back in Western MA I had a bad experience with a terrible vet who supposedly treated ferrets but didn't know what she was doing before I found another, better vet.
Now I'm living too far away to see her and I need to take my little girl in. Does anyone have vet recommendations for Cape Cod, MA? I found a couple vets who will see ferrets, but can find very little info on them.

Unfortunatly, I live on the far Outer Cape (North Truro) so both Newburry and Littleton are a two and a half hour drive- something I would consider if she needs surgery, but not a trip I can take her on tomorrow. To make matters worse, of my two ferrets, shes the one who doesn't do well in the car. Has anyone had experience with either Dr. Morgan @ Brewster Veterinary Hospital www.brewstervethospital.com/ or Dr. Blake @ Pleasant Bay Animal Hospital in Harwich www.pbah.com/ Those were the two vets I could find a little closer to home who claim to know ferrets.

Let me check on another couple of forums I'm on. I know with one, the person lives in Maine, but not sure where. To start, here is a list from Ferret Universe, ferret vets: www.ferret-universe.com/vets/vetlist.asp
