My wonderful husband connected 2 big cages. They now have a 5 story cage and it includes tunnel, a tunnel slide, a ferret cube, hammock, also their cage toys, litter box, food, water, and blankets.

How do you find they are with the water bottle? Mine never did learn to use one.

I actually hate that they use a water bottle..they do amazing with it.. its all they know. We tried a bowl but luna makes a total mess of the cage by playing in it. ;D the previous owner had them using it so i assume they have used one since they were young. It has been a ton of learning the past 3 weeks with these fuzzies lol.

No i don't think so.. are those the bowls that clip to the cage? We use a heavy type food dish. It's like stonewear or ceramic .. not sure lol got it at petsmart l. We tried that dish and she kinda face snorkeled in it .. then played in the water. She loves water. ;D

Snorkeling is common ;D I only use the loc crocs because of that. A determined digger can still get water out, but for those I raise the dish so they have to somewhat stand to drink.

I would suggest not adding carpet to the cage. It will only encourage her to dig at your carpet when she is out. Make them a dig box instead.

the bowls that attach to the side of the cage are great. Ellie will dig out water if it's in a bowl, but the lock crock was high enough to where she'd just snorkel around. They all immediately took to the lock crock and preferred it over the bottles.
