I LOVE how the dark is centralized to his front and the rest of him is white (or is it just that side?), very cool coloring. Remus' aunt Kelsey that I've mentioned a couple times is LilysMommy on that forum, she's one of the...admins, I think?

Yup she is! I always look forward to reading her posts on HHC because she is really straightforward and kind. His white is basically his whole back, save for a couple dark spots.

Thanks Lol they are basically the polar opposite of ferrets, so I can understand that! ;D We originally got a hedgehog because my boyfriend loves them (I'm more of a ferret person) but they have really grown on me. I love our little guy, and can't imagine not having a hedgie now! Which is the exact same thing that happened when I got my first fert ;D

That's good that you have a variety in the kibble. They are a lot like cats and ferrets in that they imprint on their food, and like cats they will get fatty liver disease if they go without eating. If the kibble ever changes ingredients, becomes discontinued, you move and can't find it, etc it can be VERY difficult to change them to a new one, so it's good to have a multiple-kibble base to begin with.

He is adorable. I wanted one many years ago, but there was no information at the time. Taking on a wee beastie blind with no information was not my idea of how any animal should be treated. ciao

Makes me miss my little guy Dante. Hes was the biggest baby I ever seen. Loved to sleep under my shirt spread out with his belly touching mine. Your little one is just so cute

Hedgies are cute and weird in there own way lol. I had one, unfortunately he died of wobblers, but he was an interesting little guy. He only liked me, would bite anyone else who held him hehe. Also liked to poo all over . It is so cute to watch them eat! When we would feed him worms he would just go nuts! And man can they go on the wheel! Have you ever sat there and watched? They can move! And all night too! Have fun with your hedgie they are very unique little creatures.
