i don't like the fighting i don't think she meant it in a bad way at all. she's a fellow breeder and is trying to provide information to the general public and conversing with you, a fellow breeder, about everything and anything to do with your kits. i don't think she was coming from a "im better at this than you" point of view. i think she was just stating things you already know as other people on the forum have no idea i think of it as helpful ^^ that's just my bit tho

I enjoy reading and learning - I did not get that she was correcting you - just letting us Know how it happens.

This is the third time on different posts that I feel as though she is acting "I know better than you and you know nothing" type of attitude. I have obviously taken it the wrong way and when she explains things about my litters that I am already aware of I will just ignore it and let others read and learn.

i just don't think you should let things get to you you've got a great reputation as a top breeder in Australia so why does it matter? everyone's got their own 2 cents and maybe people were trying to say you're bad at what you do, or maybe they were genuinely interested and trying to discuss. all's i know is if you know how many buns are in a ferts oven and you feed raw and you take in rescues and have to deal with all those kits and 3 preggo jills then you've got the makins of an amazing person inside and out and i'm sure theres a crapload under your belt. you sound so stressed out with all thats going on. I don't think that defending your honour as a breeder is the adult thing to do or even the right thing but i do think you are great at what you do and shouldnt let anyone tell you otherwise. I honestly probably won't have any idea when it comes to breeding...ever... and based on all i've read so far----- you're the first person i'd come to anyway, i didn't mean anything in a bad way. if anything i'm advocating for you. i think you should just remember that you're one of the best and shouldnt have to feel threatened by others good luck with the kits hunn

I agree with Heather. You may already know and understand all of this. But if it is not pointed out to those who have no experience with this, we have no way of knowing. If you choose to take this as insulting, I apologize. But since Bev is simply pointing things out for us, NOT correcting YOU, I am quite sure you are capable of sitting back and also explaining.

Thank you very much dooksandwardances I guess I was taking it the wrong way and I will happily sit back and let Bev explain what happens in my litters, or provide information and I can also join in..

That would be greatly appreciated!!! Personally I've had no experience even with a breeder ferret, let alone BREEDING ferrets ;D I know nothing and basically need to be led by the hand. Otherwise the old lady gets confused easily ;D And you KNOW it's not nice confusing the old person ;D

Aww! They're starting to look like little chunky sausages! Too adorable! The boy on the bottom of the 2nd pic looks enormous already. Badger looks like she's doing a great job at being a momma.

Hi I was not trying to correct anyone every individual breeder does things in there own way its not my place to tell another breeder what to do and not what to do unless asked all my life I have tried to educate ferret owners ( I do this in various parts of the world when judging which is why I judge and I judge for free I am not paid any fee ) I give advice on feeding methods breeding and health I answer any questions that are asked of me everything from teeth cleaning to ear cleaning do I know it all NO I like you am still learning and will be until the day I die I simply pass on knowledge that was taught to me by my father and grandfather on all aspects of ferrets they had over a 100 years of experience between them I was trying to point out to other members using your kits as an example on coat changes and how the genetics formed these colourations and even though they appeared to be a certain patter-nation at this age that could soon change I am sorry if you found this offensive it was not meant to be so take care bye for now Bev
