Thanks, but I don't think I will try again. I am fine with him being an only ferret, and it is a LONG drive just to come home without new fuzz. I will keep them in mind for future adoptions, though.

Stivs- if Remus immediately attacks other ferrets before any play is even initiated, he's always going to be a solo ferret. Unfortunately it seems that when deafies have a bad experience with another ferret they never forget that. Lucrezia's was when Athena attacked her. Willow's was another larger male in the pet store that wouldn't even let her eat.

I must have missed that part, i didn't realize that he immediately attacked the other fuzzies! Rob was like that to, he HATED all of my ferrets except for Coda. he liked Coda only when sleeping.

He seems really low energy again today, should I be worried about his infection flaring back up or is it possible he's still recovering?

As long as he is on metro and amoxecillin, i think he should be fine, if his poops get more green like you said, ECE IS at the shelter so you really should make sure to look at his poop a lot Also, he could still be tired from the trip

He's acting more himself now, just had him out and he was wandering and going through his tunnel and roughhoused with me a little.
