The past few days, I am thinking that Pippa has a prolapsed rectum. It only started a few days ago since I noticed asap from smothering them so much!
Its not terrible at this point, I thought that giving them bone would help it but it didn't so now I am adding pumpkin into their food. Her behavior is still good, nothing out of the ordinary it just looks like her but is sore since it is discolored. I will post a pic when it uploads. I also got Lanacane which I heard is comparable to Prep H and Hydro Cortisone and put it on both of their behinds. I know Pandora does not have a prolapsed rectum since hers looks okay but I think she is also irritated.
This is a bad week to take them to the vet since I'm not at home, it's been quite a bad week as well. Of course if it gets worse, I will take them both into the vet, but I am trying to avoid that if I can at this point. Does anyone else have any advice for me in this situation? Anything else I can do for them?
Again they are both eating normally and are very very active. I don't think this is bacterial since Pippa's diarrhea started a few days ago (I assumed this was just from the heart/organs ) I will give them both creams on their behinds 3 times a day which is what I have read on other threads regarding this unless someone tells me otherwise. Also how much pumpkin should I be giving them with their meals. Pandora's poop is more solid than Pippa's so I would say I may perhaps just give the pumpkin to her separately.
Thank you so much, I am once again completely panicked... my poor little angels!
Here are pictures, It was hard to get since I had no one to help me hold her still but it's also not as bright as it looks on the picture. The flash was on, so yeah...
