Just thought I should update this thread! After being an all-natural intact hob for 3 years, on his 3rd birthday, April 4th, Finn received a Suprelorin F / deslorelin acetate implant. Approximately 3 to 4 weeks later, he dropped out of rut. His fur is still scruffy and he still has hob tail, but he has only been out of rut for maybe a week or two. He now is able to mingle with the other ferrets (including my female) without bothering anyone, mounting, or any other sexual or aggressive behavior. He is still really talky and runs around muttering to himself, but his testicles have shrunk so much that I am sure he is out of rut. He also is no longer greasy or stinky. I am hoping now that his hormones are calmed down his fur will grow back nice on his bum and tail I'll keep you posted.
