So pippin has this purple squeaky toy. I've mentioned it before, he keeps me up half the night throwing it around. ellie thinks everything is here and sometimes tries to take it. What follows is a tug of war, lots of hissing and screeching and sometimes a nip until run runs off with it and hides it. Today I woke up to pippin being obnoxious with it and got my camera to record and goomba woke up and walked over to see what was going on. The toy was on the floor and pippin wasn't playing with it at the time. Goomba was sniffing the toy and pippin came over, started licking goomba's ears, then hissed and bit goomba, grabbed the toy an kept hissing D: goomba looked so upset. His body language...his shoulders were hunched, head turned away, and he just looked like his feelings were hurt. I scooped him up and he was trembling a little. It kind of broke my heart

Sometimes the over-reaction to a simple sniff of private property is rather heart breaking. He got disciplined, his reaction was that he understood he had overstepped his boundaries....ours of course is to cuddle the poor wee one. I would have done the same thing. They do have quite the ability to look totally broken hearted. ciao
