ProBoards are recovering/possibly still going through a massive DDOS attack. You can read up on some tips to getting back online to your forum here. I'm sure as you can understand they're trying to do their best to fix this issue. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack1) Try putting "www." in front of your forum's URL. -- For example, support.proboards.com would be www.support.proboards.com. 2) Reboot your computer 3) Reboot your router The majority of users have reported that these three steps have alleviated their problems.

I am finding it almost impossible to negotiate around the forum right now. I don't know if it's my server or the problems the site is having I have to refresh at least 5 or more times to get one message through. It's been frustrating ciao

I have been having the same issues as Heather for a couple weeks now, though I just assumed it was related to the iPhone app. Anytime I post something it tells me I've lost my connection and I have to try at least 2 more times. The app also constantly crashes when loading longer posts and doesn't like to show me recent posts on threads (like from my mentee on my switching thread ) but again not sure how much of that is Proboards and how much is the iPhone app.

Those are the same error messages I'm getting. Everything from dropped server to error 404....it requires constant rebooting. I think F5 has become the next key stroke to return/enter . My smilies are limited to the ones that deign to show up over top of my message space....sometimes I only have a couple of the ciao

I'm getting the same thing on the iphone app Steph. I'll see what I can find out. But I get the feeling we are just going to have to ride it out. I cannot believe someone would pull a stunt like this

The problem is trying to post. It means that someone who is trying to get answers may just give up in frustration. ciao

I know. I'm just glad proboards are on the ball with this. I belong to another forum where the parent board takes a year or more before they finally feel like getting around to fixing a few things

Steph, when it the last time you updated your phone. I know I've got to do it again. They say latest version was December 05, and it should fix the problems.

And Heather- I gather you have tried all of the above. Have you also deleted cookies, history, etc? And what browser do you use?

I've been having problems for weeks connecting to HFF, reading my pms, or bringing up posts I want to read. I have to use F5 several times before it will load. It's really frustrating and a lot of times I just give up as I don't have the time to keep trying.

Internet Explorer. The message I get is that Internet Explorer can't connect as the server is busy.
