When you hear people referring to whippet and bulldog ferrets it is not their stance that is beign referred to so much as their general body shape. Koda for example has (up until this witner) always been very lean and muscled, but with the appearance of being borderlien udnerweight - much like a whippet. Kenai on the other hand is typically stocky and bulky, and has shorter legs and a wider build - much like a bulldog.

And just to clarify, this is all "ancedoal" and completely unofficial. Nor is it all inclusive. Just as humans have differnet body types, so do ferrets. There is no Official "whippet ferret" or "bulldog ferret." These are simply observations made by ferret ownder who have noticed a few general trends in body shapes. Some ferrets don't necessarily fall into either or category, and some change with age. It is simply a way to describe your ferret's build.
