Its hectic! We all have different work days so we're doing it very slowly. The ferrets will probably be at my mom's house for another week or two. But other than that its going pretty smoothly. Nothing has broken yet I took Zoey to the vet today for a check-up. The vet asked me what type of food she was eating, and she actually seemed impressed when I told her they were on a raw food diet.

Yaaay for Raw vets! That is GREAT news! Just keep up the diet during the move. If you need to keep it steady where it is do that and we can pick back up when you are settled. Just try to not let them go backwards. Moving can be a lot of excitement and stress for them, and for you - which they will pick up on. So they might try to backslide, but stick with it. Keep giving them what you are feeding now, and we can pick up the progress when things clam down. You can keep trying to move them forwards in their diet now as well, but they might not take to it as quickly just because of the stress. Then again they might. Sometimes with ferrets you jsut never know until you try. Keep me posted!

Hey! I got your present, and thank you so much! It will definently help with the bone, and it looks cool They had turkey neck for dinner tonight, and they're doing just fine. So hopefully the move won't freak them out too much. Its a hot mess around here right now

haha Yay I am glad that you got it. That took longer than I expected, in the past shipping has been super quick! I am glad you like it. It takes some practice to get used to but it is quite amazing and versatile. You might want to sharpen it at some point too, and if possible it seems to work best on a wooden cutting board. Jackie said she has a glass cutting board and it dulled the knife very quickly. :/ They still work really well dull too though due to the shape of the blade, and the edge. Enjoy! Keep up their diet and let me know if they start giving you any trouble, and when you are ready to pick back up. Good luck with the move! I know EXACTLY what a pain that is, but when you are done it will feel SO nice!

The turkey neck I can basically chop into thirds and they each take a piece and run off. So its pretty awesome

Oh good! And refresh my memory they are eating beef now as well? Or that is still on the list to try? Now that they are eating chunks nicely, you want to start getting in more and more protein sources to get their diet balanced and varied.

Hi again! Sorry for disappearing. Life just swooped in and overwhelmed me. I am back though! Have you tried any beef heart and liver? If not go ahead and give that a try if you can find them. Also, what about pork organs? The more organ variety you can get into them the better. Well the more variety period the better. haha Have you given the turkey neck a try? I forget if you said already? If not, go ahead and get some Cornish game hen and turkey and give those a try. Let me know if you have troubles. They should take the toe CGH quickly as it is pretty similar to chicken. Start there and let me know how it goes. Keep me updated. And for future read below... If you have a good Asian Market near you you might be able to find some rabbit and/or goat too. I found out from Candice recently that "Halal Meat" is lamb and goat. Goat is very similar to lamb and super gentle on the belly but not as "yucky" as lamb. So if you ever have a sick baby it might be good to have. Halal meat is sold in African Markets, and then duck should be in the Asian Market too. Just some more variety ideas. Bison/buffalo is good to swap out with beef on occasion too for a little something different. It is very similar to beef but obviously a bit different. Just another way to mix it up for them here and there. Just some food for thought. *snort-chuckle-giggle* hehehe Sorry, it is late.
