My girls have the illusive H tattoo. There's are quite dark (pretty sure they're black) and can be seen both from the front and the back. The paperwork they came with is definitely not RC (no Canadian flag as Katt has described hers has) so I'm guessing they're from the illusive Manitoba H breeder. It is most definitely an H, not an I. I'll see if i can sneak some sleeping pics tonight now that my good camera is up and running and will post them on here

He does, it's buried in the fold way back in the ear. Looks like a single bar, appears to be black or very dark blue. Nothing like Captain Jack's tat that is a very pale green and Lady "B"'s thats a very pale blue ciao

Yeah Heather I can't quite tell if Koda's tat is black or blue. I always thought it was black, but looking at the picture and checking it out last night, it's possible it is very dark blue. lol Not that it matters. Carpetsharks if you can get a picture of the H that would be awesome!

My very first ferret had an M tattooed in his ear. Anyone know anything about an M tattoo. He came from Victoria. Maybe a private breeder.

I've never heard of private breeders doing tats, mostly farms but that's not saying it doesn't happen. There was a North Carolina breeder (a mill), but went under the guise of being a breeder who I've heard did tats too....I will have to check my notes on that one ciao
