I was wondering how large of a dish I need for two adult ferrets. I would refill it twice a day at least, but I want to make sure they get enough.

Hi If you are using a dish make sure you can make it stay down because they are certain to tip it over no matter how many times you fill it ( many like to dance in it lol) I personally use bottles I know a lot of people dont like them but you can also get bowls that lock on to cage bars so they cannot be tipped go for a medium depth dish as if its too deep they will spill it as for size look in your pet store for something four to five inches around hope this helps Bev

The 4 or 5 inch diameter lock crocks are good--they hold around 20 oz--or heavy ceramic bowls of the same size. Too big and they'll swim in it! (Of course, they'll wade in it no matter what, but I consider that the trade-off for knowing they're well-hydrated.)

Amount also depends on what they are fed. Raw fed ferrets don't need to drink nearly as much as kibble fed.
