Mama Dawn's Soupie Mix was the turning point for them. I'll probably now work with them together on the chunks..once one goes for it, the group seems to follow. From top: Not pictured is sleeping Blondie, who is getting over relocation stress and recuperating nicely by showing weight gain. Jessie, the pet shop dumpee we took in, who was a thin little thing. Minky, in the middle, came to me already on ground soupies. She's only just getting her winter coat, compared to my floofbutts. Josie, first ferret for my spouse, my first "come back to owning the best pet ever" kiddo.

How is the transition going? Little brat have stalled at soupie stage, but we're slowly using less water, so it's a thicker consistency. I'm having to do a lot of finger starting for Jessie, she's still balking, but once she does eat, she digs in. Unfortunately, she also wanders off a lot. Coming up on the holiday and getting ready for Daddy's visit has taken a lot out of me and I need to buckle down and do daily updates on my thread. I'm horribly disorganized atm.

I would start with slivering a few bits and mixing in the meat. Or even using ground meat. Anything to start mixing up the textures. If slivering make 5 or 6 pieces the size of your pinkie crescent and mix in. If ground use about a half tsp well mixed in. They will completely ignore those at first, but sooner or later they will eat them as well. Once they do, double the amount
