I just prepped Jonbenéts meals for the week so I figured I’d do one of these now to get in the habit.
1. Ferret's name: Jonbenét 2. Ferret's weight: 1.2 lb 3. Ferret's Daily Medications: none 4. Ferret has eaten "X" amount on average per meal. 4-5 oz 5. Stools on various proteins. Runny with organs, either mucusy/sticky or poops with bones inside for chicken wings. Small dark poops with muscle. 6. Activity levels: high 7. Weekly menu: Monday : chicken wing AM goat and beef pm Tuesday turkey neck am Goat pm Wednesday rabbit am Chicken hearts pm Friday turkey neck am Friday pm chicken hearts pork liver and beef kidney Saturday am chicken wing Saturday pm goat and beef muscle Sunday am rabbit Sunday pm pork liver and chicken gizzards

That actually looks pretty good. How well is she eating everything you've listed? If you want to counteract the organ stools being too loose, you can also add in a pinch of eggshell powder or bonemeal

Sherry So far she hasn't tried the rabbit or turkey, were gonna do turkey tomorrow I think but yesterday she tried beef kidney pork liver and goat for the first time and she took to it immediately, although I had to wave the goat around till she bit it and realized it was food lol. I've had zero problem with anything I gave her last week (her first week of raw eating) chicken wings, hearts and gizzards or beef livers, she's transitioning so easily im really happy about it!

Last night we tried goat and rabbit. She LOVED both immediately, Her dinner was Goat and beef muscle and I let her try a piece of the rabbit saddle while I was cutting it up. She always leaves the beef for last but its always gone by morning anyways!

Oh fantastic! Looking at your menu again, you really do need a bit more bone in there. You have 6 meals, and need 7-9. One suggestion is to move the rabbit from Sunday morning to Mon evening, and add another turkey neck Sun morning. That would at least give 7 meals. At least I am assuming the rabbit is bone in?

Sorry im a little late on the posting this week, been fighting some terrible dental pain and in and out of doctors ><
Here is the menu I have worked up this week
Monday AM: Chicken Wing Monday PM: Beef and goat for muscle
Tuesday AM: Rabbit Tuesday PM: Goat for muscle
Wednesday AM: Turkey Neck Wednesday PM: Chicken hearts ( Her favorite meal)
Thursday AM: Rabbit Thursday PM: chicken wing (She usually has supper runny poops after heart meals so im hoping the double up on bone will help)
Friday AM: Rabbit Friday PM; chicken heart/pork lover/beef kidney
Saturday AM: Chicken wings Saturday PM: Beef for muscle
Sunday AM: Rabbit Sunday PM: Pork Liver and chicken gizzard
She also got 2 egg yolks this week and would not sit still for me to weigh her but she's definitely getting bigger!

Yes organ meats and egg will make their poop more runny. When giving organ you can do every other day. For example Wednesday hearts, Friday, 1/2 heart, 1/4 kidney, 1/4 liver, Sunday 1/2 kidney, 1/2 liver. Then the other days either bone in meats or muscle meals. She should have 7-9 bone in meals depending on how her stool is. Gizzards are considered as a muscle meal not an organ. Oops didn't see your post with your meal plan. iPad wasn't showing another page.

Just an fyi- gizzard is a muscle meat, so Sunday pm meal should be liver/other organ. Not liver/gizzard. Otherwise looks good!
