Can't wait for him to catch up with the rest of the busyness. This'll be a very loong 14 days to wait since he was adopted from the shelter.

It is so hard to wait the time but so worth it for safety sake. He is doing well with the soup now?

Looks like Dagger is doing well. Can you include updates on the others as well?

Sunday, 1/7, they finally finished previous week's menu due to their changes. Starting Monday, 1/8 was Day 66 / Day 57 feedings. First day was great they ate the 9 ounce meals due to me feeding them only 1-2 ounces every 4-5 hours to prevent stashing. However by Tuesday, they started stashing again. Currently they are on Day 70 (Mimi, Precious, Logan) / Day 61 (Wade)
Day 1 AM - Bone In - CGH - 9 ounces PM - Muscle - Chicken Thigh - 9 ounces Day 2 AM - Bone In - Chicken Wing - 9 ounces PM - Muscle CGH - 9 ounces Day 3 AM - Bone In - Quail - 9 ounces PM - Heart - Beef - 12.6 ounces Day 4 AM - Bone In - Squab - 9 ounces PM - Muscle - Pork - 9 ounces Day 5 AM - Bone In - Rabbit - 9 ounces PM - 50% Heart / 25% Liver / 25% Organ - Beef Heart / Pork Liver / Pork Kidney - 12.6 ounces Day 6 AM - Bone In - Chicken Neck - 9 ounces PM - Muscle - Beef - 9 ounces Day 7 AM - Bone In - Chicken Feet - 9 ounces PM - 50% Liver / 50% Organ - C Liver / T Fries - 12.6 ounces

These 9 ounces have already been portioned out. These stretched out weekly feedings have not diminished their activity levels. They also know something is up since they can hear and smell Dagger being quarantined in the other room (bathroom). Precious is coming out of she'll some more. She pounces on the busyness when they pass her by. Before she would only war dance at towel play, but when I am on all 4, she starts initiating war dances towards me. She'll even pounce for the hem of my jeans or sweatpants when I pass by her like she does with the busyness. Howecer, she's developing a "Don't touch me" attitude when being handled. Before she was very chill and relaxed, now not so much. She'll even nip at my wrists when she gets annoyed with me. Mimi has surprised me by day 69 and day 70. She's never licked me before, but the past 2 mornings, she'd lick when I greet her. However the rest of the day, she doesn't want to get handled at all.

Excellent, can you list all of the proteins they currently eat for me please? Everyone is doing well with bones? How old is Dagger?

Excellent, can you list all of the proteins they currently eat for me please? Everyone is doing well with bones? How old is Dagger? Their weekly menu is a few posts above this. They've been on bone in meals for over 3 weeks now. Dagger from what Heather and a few others estimated him to be about 2 years old

So that menu includes EVERY protein they eat? Have you tried any fish? Do they get any eggs? Being on bones for 3 weeks does not always equate to them doing well with them, that is why I asked how they are doing with them. I am guessing they are doing fine and eating them all or at least mostly then. You are doing great with them and with Dagger (I would not have expected anything less though because you have already transitioned the others so the steps are the same). I do my best to keep up on face book but please do not think that just because you posted something there means that I have seen it and part of being in the mentoring program means keeping me in the loop of things, like the little details of a new ferrets age and any health concerns.

What's listed along with weights are what's being fed to the 4 and Dagger. Any left over that they don't eat has been extended. They are eating mostly everything and even I do weekly feedings there's very little uneaten bones in the cage. Aside from the previous week where they were stashing large amounts of food outside of the cage, they are stashing less because of the controlled feedings i do because of what my work schedule allows and because I only now feed them while they are in the cage.
Dagger has been eating the left over the past 3 days of feedings from the main busyness while being supplemented with the 4 ounces of soupie. With him finding the occasion stash that the busyness has hidden when they are in the cage and he free roam on his time, he will eat their stashed bone in meats.

Facebook postings are what's convenient and thoughts going on in my head at the time and to get faster responses regarding my busyness while I use this forum for documenting.
