Once again, initial voting has resulted in a tie, so here's the tie breaker poll.
I will leave the voting open until 1130pm on the 3rd of November (my time). I have suspicions that the voting actually closes differently for different time zones now. On my screen, polls expire when they reach the time I set for my time zone but because I have no idea when they close in other time zones I have always taken the final vote as finished once I see it expired on my screen. I now suspect that votes can maybe still be cast after this point in other areas but I cannot guess when those areas close. The upshot of all this is that any votes cast after I have declared a result are not going to change my declared result. Am explaining this because when I went in to lock last months tie breaker poll (which I do when I start the next poll because I always leave it open for anyone wishing to add congratulations to the winner) the vote was a tie but when I looked and declared the winner the poll had a definite winner but was now showing a tied result. I can only assume someone in a different time zone voted after I had declared a winner and that the poll was not expired in their area. Hence all this. To help calculate when the poll will expire (my time) it is currently 0335am on the 1st of December. That leaves 2 days 19 hours and a bit for everyone to cast their votes.
