They are doing great! And yes, 6m olds will still out eat adults Good point about balancing the grinds. Cut out the heart/liver/organ meal and replace that one Which do you think will fit better there- grind, bone in, or muscle

Maybe with muscle? Because they're already getting 9 bone in meals? And they're already getting grinds? I mean, they're already getting muscle but thinking about the options I'm going to guess muscle.
Winston did well during his dental and they did a full blood panel which I should get results from it either today or tomorrow. Echo and Winston both have been eating soupy entirely on their own for a couple days now. I've been encouraging them to eat a bit extra to try to fatten them up a bit. There was accidentally a small slivers in their bowl of soupy last night and they ate around it haha. So. That shows me where they're at with that. I suppose I'll let them get totally used to the soupy and then start adding slivers in a few days?
If Winston's blood work comes back with nothing contagious I think I'll start the transition process just by exchanging their bedding so they can get used to the smells.

In that you would guess right With those two I'd start adding either a bit of the grinds, or start directly with adding a half dozen or so slivers the size of your pinkie crescent. If you choose the slivers keep to the half dozen or so until they start eating them. Shouldn't take too long- maybe 3 or 4 days? The trick is to keep them small enough that they don't have to chew them, just swallow. That gets them used to texture changes, which you know is HUGE

Okay will do! I'll probably start with slivers because I'm more familiar with that strategy. I also noticed today that both of their poops are a bit looser than I'd prefer but they're peeing tons. I think maybe the soup is too thin. It has bone meal but I may add a tad more to it and see if that helps firm their poops up. I suppose Winston may have a couple loose poops coming from his dental yesterday as well. They don't appear to be unhealthy poops. Just looser than they've been having.

He had anesthesia. And would definitely do it. Combined with the stress of them being separated she could have some as well.

I've also noticed that they're both peeing tons and tons but Echo only poops like once a day. Both of their poops are super tiny. Maybe because of being new to raw and their body absorbing most of the nutrients? I think I remember Rogue and Calamity going through this phase too and me being worried about blockages.
She's eating fine I think. They're eating between 4 and 5 oz of soupy a day which doesn't seem like much to me but it's probably on par with what they should be.

Again got it in one Raw makes them fully hydrated so they pee a LOT more. As well as pooping a lot less.

Echo keeps losing weight. She's 616 grams today and she was 670 grams when I got her. :( Should I be worried yet or is she still losing fat from kibble?

They're both taking slivers mixed with soup pretty well! I'm worried about both of their weights but I'm trying hard not to worry about it. Winston gained weight the first week and then has returned to his original weight this week. And Echo weighs 54 grams less than she did two weeks ago which makes me sooooo nervous. But they seem okay otherwise.
They're eating a combined total of between 4 and 6 ounces a day. Sometimes closer to 4. Sometimes closer to 6.

It isn't uncommon for them to drop fat before gaining the muscle. Also- don't forget spring shed, along with the accompanying weight drop is just beginning And they do sound like they are eating enough. How is their activity level?

For some reason I thought Rogue was small but Rogue is a giant (2.2 lbs) in comparison to her! Echo is more active than Winston but he's definitely a lot older. They are up playing every morning for at least 1 hour. Sometimes 2 hours. They get up twice more at least for play time during the day. Usually once around 3pm and then again around 8pm...sometimes 10pm. Echo lasts a lot longer than Winston does but first thing in the morning (sunrise) they're both up and making lots of noise and knocking things over haha.
If it's really cold they seem to sleep more. Like our power went out one day and it was 51 degrees in the quarantine room. They slept extra.
They certainly don't have the energy of the babies who seem like they're awake all the time in comparison to these two but they do play and it seems like they play more than they did when they first came home. And when I introduced them to the current ferret room (with Rogue and Calamity in their cage) yesterday they played for about 3 hours before settling down.

Then they are definitely getting enough to eat AND showing signs of spring.

I wish the weather would show signs of spring too! January seems early for that whole thing to begin. It seems like yesterday that I got Calamity's shedding under control for winter. Sheesh haha!
But thank you that helps me feel better!

Winston just threw up a few times though I think he ate too much? Put down at least 1.5 oz all at once. He did this once before. I'll keep an extra close eye on him. I wonder why they eat that much!

Sometimes they also eat too quickly and can toss it back up again
