LindaMFINALLY got the stupid cat to eat some wet food. It's some meow mix flavor I got as a free sample from petco. I mixed in some raw chicken now I'm hoping he'll eat it all.

Added a ferret to the family! Little Emily. She's not quite certain about raw yet. And I have no idea of her age. She's tiny and has some ear mites. But, she's a sweetheart. She's quarantined from the boys for now

I've been bad lately about posting weights and schedules but I'll do them for everyone this Sunday.

They appear to be pretty much switched, and you know how to switch the newbie How comfortable are you with what they are eating, and with making changes to the menu if you suddenly can't find one of the proteins?

Yeah they eat great And yep! She's eating very well on soupies. Yeah I'm comfortable with it! Beef, pork, chicken, and turkey are all grocery store. The butcher has been getting cleared out of frog legs every time he gets them in by raw feeders since I got the word out he has them, so he's promised to make sure he keeps getting it in. And then I get a lot of proteins from hunters I've got rainbow trout and more deer coming in this week! There's also someone in town who farms meat rabbits. Getting variety is pretty easy for me xDD

Congratulations You've graduated and you're ready to walk this path alone. You have the foundation to help you feed your fuzzes in a more natural and healthy manner. Please remember that your learning never stops, and dietary needs change from ferret to ferret and throughout each their lives. I would like you to be aware that though you now have the capability and the knowledge to create your little ones diets you are never alone and that your mentor (you need only pm) is always available to you. The list is also a very good resource and you should always be aware that it's available to answer any questions you may have either about diet or care.
Good luck, in a few days Sherry will lock down this thread and place it in the archives but be aware that you can always look through it as a reference tool but you just will not be able to post to it. Your mentor will be in to congratulate you shortly. ciao

I don't think I ever had an 'official' mentor but I know LindaM gave me a lot of help But thank you very much! I definitely will keep this forum as a resource.
