She's 9 to 11 weeks old. Diagnosed with IBD after every other test came back negative. What next??? The vet says prednisone trial but I've been reading this forum and am concerned she didn't suggest the Triple Therapy that is mentioned here. Do I go see another vet?
I can do an elimination diet with her which will be tricky since she's got a sister...

They can both be on the same diet, no problem there. Saw your post in the fb group first, so was coming over here to link this board for you lol

So I can do an elimination diet for both of them? I just worry about the at least three proteins thing. That will be super duper if I can do it with both of them. I can get started today.

Two of the most common food sensitivity/allergy proteins tend to be chicken and beef... yes.. the ones you can get a hold of the easiest, and I know it's two that you do feed so starting there first might be smart. But there are other options even the grocery store should carry, like Pork, Turkey, Lamb (I believe this is a very hypoallergenic option), Venison (hunting season is great, though you might need to get through a butcher instead), Goat (you can get this at some stores.. I think on specific holidays more likely) and then if you can find an Asian/Ethnic store or order online, there's quail, duck, rabbit, and even frog (frog legs).
The Sticky with the info about the Elimination Trial instructions on this board has some great info about each of the proteins.

While this has nothing to do with elimination diet---but to add variety of meatsso the diet not be poultry heavy, u can give frozen mice and rats (squirrel if any hunters in your family). Perfect Prey and South Florida Rodents. Everything comes packed in dry ice and arrives frozen and clean. southfloridarodents.com/www.perfectprey.com/
