I guess brains is another organ I have seen. I don't think I have seen anything else. What other organs would you suggest? So Cornish game hens and chicken are two different proteins? I thought someone on this forum said they were not. I also thought that baby animals didn't count as meals because they have not developed all the nutrition yet. And the reason you leave the fur and feathers is to help move things through and clean out the digestive tract kind of like fiber for humans. Sorry for the confusion, when I said yes, i meant you are correct not that the answer was yes lol. Bonus answer is also correct! Yes, brains are one, spleen, pancreas, ovaries, testes, thymus are all other organs.

Excellent thank you! I will post it for Heather to review ASAP, she has a lot going on so some times it takes a couple of days for her to get to it, but all should be fine!

Congratulations :goodjob: You've graduated and you're ready to walk this path alone. You have the foundation to help you feed your fuzzes in a more natural and healthy manner. Please remember that your learning never stops, and dietary needs change from ferret to ferret and throughout each their lives. I would like you to be aware that though you now have the capability and the knowledge to create your little ones diets you are never alone and that your mentor (you need only pm) is always available to you. The list is also a very good resource and you should always be aware that it's available to answer any questions you may have either about diet or care. You are presently feeding the max required bone in so keep a close eye on your little one's stools. If they appear dry or too formed (like kibble stools) then you are in a position to add another meat only meal. Each ferret is an individual in their dietary needs and what might be working for this ferret would be much too bone heavy for another. Otherwise, great job.
Good luck, in a few days Sherry will lock down this thread and place it in the archives but be aware that you can always look through it as a reference tool but you just will not be able to post to it. Your mentor will be in to congratulate you shortly :wave3: ciao
