Yay missy you did great! So proud of you! Just a small few points: the taurine supplement should be fed twice at 250 mg since it is water solvable- don't want him to pee it out before he can absorb it all also we don't mix meals so they don't have the option to pick and choose their favorites and leave the things they think are icky. I'm going to try to type out your menu so it will be easier to follow for Heather- I'll post it here and you tell me if I got it right before I send it her way You've come so far and done so well! What a good grand ferrent you are ❤️ Also I would like to apologize for my absence as of late. I got a little overwhelmed with getting certified for my job and moving, and certain aspects of my life got neglected for a bit there. Thank you for your patience boogerybooger and katt

:thankyou: Yes, that looks right. No need to apologize, life happens! Sometimes I feel it gets ahead of me at times- ha! Moving in itself is HUGE! And anything that needs certifications is pretty big too! Hope all went well with the changes!
We still have not tried goat meat yet. But I did find some quail eggs to try. I know they need 3 of them to equal one chicken egg, but can't remember if the 3 eggs can be over a week or if they are given all at one time.
I may have to get Booger on heartworm prevention because our old dog takes longer getting herself in and out of the house which gives more opportunity for things to get in. What kind of side effects have people noticed with the heartworm meds if any? Are there any studies?
Once this thread is complete, do I just go back to asking questions/creating posts to everyone?
Thank you, TessVictoria!

You can split the quail eggs as little "treats" or serve them all at once, totally up to you As for heart worm meds I am unsure- this is probably more up katt s alley. And yes, once you graduate feel free to post anywhere anytime with any questions!

Sorry I've been absent - I spent most of the week cranking out some new pages for the website and then had to work this weekend. For heartworm prevention we use Kitten Revolution. I think it's a dose a month? I don't remember off the top of my head; it's a different regimen than for ear mites. For the quail eggs you can either feed them throughout the week or all at once - either way is fine.

Hi all,
I haven't been using the turkey wing much because he doesn't eat it well. Even with me cutting it all up- baring the bone and marrow, he didn't really eat it so I haven't given it lately. I think I was giving the tip, and mid section. I don't recall the drummette as part of the wings I bought. But I'm not sure and will have to look tomorrow. What do I need to be doing if he does decide he wants to eat it again?
Thanks for the help! Sorry I disappeared for a couple of days.

If he's having trouble with the bones I don't blame him, they're huge! Are his poops okay with him just eating the muscle? And treating it as a muscle meal? You can continue to do what you're doing to offer the bone if he decides he likes it 😊

Could you send me your menu again then with what you're feeding instead of the turkey wings so I can resubmit it to Heather?

Hi Tessvictoria,
Should I have a fixed menu? I usually vary things. Like tonight I gave Booger Salmon, but I don't do that often. His basic proteins are chicken, Quail, Frog, Pork, Lamb, Rabbit. i will try to post the menu image if possible in next reply.
Thank you!!
