Oh by the way, I just opened up boogers picture to the large view, is his hair thinning on his hips? -ah I see now he has the des and melatonin. That answers my question oh ok. It's coming back finally. His hips were nearly bare right around the time of his implant in January. It's taking a long time but it looks much better than it did. He's put on some weight too! I'm a happy grandferrent! We seem to have crossed the bone bridge as long as I chop and smash still, but I think he may get past that too and just crunch down. When I'm comfortable with his weight, I may stubborn him out on chicken wings. Thank you!!! Read more: holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/22639/transitioning-thread-booger?page=4#ixzz4bMKdhw7n

Thanks @tessvictoria! Hades is certainly a handful... It's taken the biggest struggle of my life to switch him from kibble onto wet canned food, and now the war for switching to raw will begin.. I'm not quite sure who is going to win yet, he's definitely putting up the fight of a lifetime right now. Athena is my fluffy puff, she's the softest, fluffiest thing I have ever had, and that trumps the bunnies I owned once too. Both hubby and I can't stop cuddling her whenever she runs past or comes to us. It's completely mind boggling how absolutely fluffy she is. And Loki is my little love ball, he's the sweetest thing in the world (other than when he's chewing on Athena), and if you're feeling down or ill, he'll constantly come check in on you to be sure you're okay.

Oh so cute! love em! so they sleep in a drawer- how cool! Good luck with the switch! It's amazing how attached these critters are to the worst food- sort of like us with our junk food I guess I know you just love those babies! and I can tell you, you will fall more in love as time goes by. They are much more than just animals to me and it seems to you too or you probably wouldn't recognize that he knows and has compassion to check on someone not feeling well. side note-- you were right! Booger has made a planner/scheduler out of me already! I sent in a work schedule way ahead of time- LOL! a first! Have a great weekend you two ferrent ladies!

Since mine free-roam in the day, they have a bunch of nesting spots in our bedroom, it used to be that they could access both mine and my husband's dressers, the dressing table, and both bedside tables, but Loki got into a bad habit of getting onto the dressing table and tossing off items Athena eyed before.. like jewelry, tissues, hair brush and makeup. Not to mention that I have easily around 30 bottles of perfume on there, several of which are very expensive designer ones... which I'm not sure would survive a crash to the floor that well, nor my ferrets if they drank any of it. So this past weekend to ferret proof we sealed off my dresser's and the dressing table's undersides, effectively cutting down on 3 actual sleeping drawers, and others in my dresser where they'd sleep in the clothing. I tried to make up for it by turning another of my husband's dresser drawers into a sleeping spot for them, so they have 4 drawers total right now. And are slowly getting over it.. they were NOT happy at first. I definitely love my babies to DEATH, Loki and Hades have already lived through 1.5 years of it, baby Athena has only been with us nearly 4 months now, but is already drowning in love and cuddles. If anyone seems just a little off, or if I think one might have gotten a touch hurt, I end up an emotional mess on the couch while trying to keep up the brave face. Haha! I told you! They make the best planners of us though. You have a wonderful weekend too dear and give that little Booger a cuddle!

There's two ways, if you know their username (it can be different from the display name), you can type the @ symbol and the name. Or if you are unsure of the username, you can click the little "person with @ symbol" button in the menu and start typing the name, and it'll show up with options that match and you just click on the one you need.
