But she will eat it on her own without you coaxing her?

She must have ate some in her cage because that was all that was in there during the day

Before you feed her tomorrow morning weigh out the kibble raw mix. That way when we are over here pondering on how much she ate we will know

Do you know about adding carbohydrates and fiber to the cats diet? I was looking online on pet WebMD and it was saying they need a small amount of carbs and fiber to their raw diet

I was looking online on pet WebMD and it was saying they need a small amount of carbs and fiber to their raw diet Cats and ferrets have a lot of the same physiology (they are both obligate carnivores). Which means they can not process any plant matter what so ever. If you want fiber in your cats diet, feeding mice, rats, and guinea pigs all have hair which is considered "fiber" in a cats diet.

I am stopping trying to switch Sophie for now. She is now starving herself until she gets the kibble. I will try her again in a week or so.

Also, you are doing a great job keep it up. Don't let Sophie discourage you older ferrets are slightly harder to switch. Switching ferrets does take time but that's why you have me, remember we are a team keep working on getting her to eat the raw. It's all about being persistent and out stubborning her

Yes she is totally refusing the kibble soup. Wolf also only ate a tiny bit of raw this morning. He's been refusing it since. I don't know why???

OK. But I can't take a way her kibble for the whole day Again. I will try again and just try once for her after 3/4 hours. I don't like the fact that she ate nothing for 8 hours today and when we put the kibble back she was scarring it up... That was after I tried giving her the soup on my finger

Let's start finger feeding again. Grab Wolf dab your finger in soup dab it on his gums then let him go. Do the same with Sophie. Just keep repeating it during the day they need to be taught to like the soup
