Paul isn't so sure about feeding them the soup, even though he's seen me do it! But I will try to have him give it at night time when I'm gone. Otherwise I'm home all the time, and can feed them whenever. If he doesn't feel comfortable no biggie but just make sure there is kibble down before you leave Don't forget those pictures tomorrow I will also have a lesson for you you can answer it when you have time. If that'd in the morning or when you get back doesn't matter

If we can get them eating the soup during the day and kibble at night that will be a huge step. One step at a time and it's a good goal. Once we reach that goal we will shoot for no more kibble does that sound good?

Sounds great! It is going to take a while I know. Wolf ate.15 ounce and Sophie ate.1 ounce when I fed then on my finger/spoon. That was 3 hours after no kibble. What can I do to get them to eat more?

Just finger feeding? Or did you try the spoon? Finger and spoon but they ate more off of my finger Just being persistent is going to be key. So when you get home when you take away the kibble again after the 3 hour mark try hand feeding them again. See how much they eat. If they don't eat a lot wait another hour and try it again.

Paul fed them last night. Sophie wouldn't eat it at all. Wolf ate a tablespoon, so that is about 1/2 ounce. Wolf ate a little bit today, haven't seen Sophie yet to feed her. I feel bad trying to force Sophie because she really doesn't want to eat it. She eats about .1 oz every time I feed her, and that is forcing

Just fed Sophie, but she is refusing. What can I do to get her to like it? Also, fed Wolf for the second time today. He ate the same amount as usual, but only from my finger.

Ferrets imprint on their food around 6 to 9 months. So what ever she was eating then she imprints on. You have to teach her to like the raw. She isn't going to know she likes it till you show her it's good If you have time today you can take the kibble away wait 3 hours feed them and then try and feed them every hour or work to get them to eat every hour. With Wolf, when you feed him from your finger you can slowly put your finger down to maybe the spoon or even the bowl (if you are using one).

Lol. How do I get her to know it is good? Just keep trying? Do you think it would help if I put grinder kibble in hers so it kind of tastes like it?

Make it into a fine powder almost and add water. Then I want you to mix the raw in there. So put an ounce of kibble add water then put a half ounce of the raw soup and mix it together.

Sophie just woke up so I gave her some more soupies. I'm just going to keep doing it every time she wakes up from a nap. Once I got her started she ate it willingly, just the initial start she tries to refuse. I'm going to continue to do this with both of them every time before they come out from their cage in the later morning, and every time they wake up from their naps. I'm thinking it might be partially a temperature thing for Sophie. She doesn't like if her water is too cold either.

Alright, I will try this tomorrow. I'm hoping she will take it easier I won't do it for Wolf since he takes it better.
