Let's see if he eats the breast first. If he does he will add heart and liver to it try doing small chunks at first and see what he does

You can add his soupie on it one meal isn't going to make him deficient. the faster we get him on a balanced diet the better

Yes!!! This is great news! Did you put some of his soup on top of the chunks? Also when you get your cleaver let me know I know you aren't feeling well so take your time! For now the ratio when you feed chunks I would like it to be 8:1:1 which means 8 chicken chunks to 1 chunk of heart and 1 chunk of liver just to see if he will eat it. When you do that ratio you can put soup on those chunks as well:)

I will also put the soup on them like you said. its so strange he LOVES the chicken but not the really good stuff haha and thank you hun I appreciate it... being sick when you got 3 kids is not an easy task... I am sooo dragging today

(Now for the heart and liver... does it need to be cut up as well? I will also put the soup on them like you said. its so strange he LOVES the chicken but not the really good stuff haha) Yes they can be smaller chunks than the chicken. So when you feed the meal it should be 8 chunks of chicken, if the heart is the size of the chunks you feed then you can just cut it up smaller and same with the liver

I was going to do this tonight... however he just started eating more chicken on his own after his nap! so should I still cut up some small pieces and just offer it?

Basic guidelines for how long their food lasts Soups - 6-8 hours (for soup recipe, see below) Grinds - 8-12 hours Chunks - 10-24 hours depending on the size (larger chunks last longer) Bone-in meats - 12-24 hours, again depending on the size Whole prey - up to 48 hours (Remember that it also depends on temperatures for most of these. We also recommend doing a sniff test. Usually if it smells alright it is still okay to eat.) Alright so there is the guidelines for you for the summer months. Ferret's love making their own jerky. Usually if they are eating it it is okay. Also that is extremely exciting to hear your little boy eating that! Alright!!! Let's get to the bone in meal. How are you feeling? Have you gotten a cleaver? 💖💖
