Monday am: duck wingsMonday pm: boneless beef Tuesday am: chicken wingsTuesday pm: boneless pork with bone mealWednesday am: chicken gizzards Wednesday pm: chicken heart with bone mealThursday am: chicken wingsThursday pm: boneless beef Friday am: CGHFriday pm: ½ chicken heart + ¼ beef liver + ¼ pork kidney Saturday am: chicken heart Saturday pm: boneless pork with bone mealSunday am: chicken ribsSunday pm: ½ beef liver + ½ pork kidney So there's only one "boneless" meal? and we'd be buying the whole CGH, so can use any/all of it lol The bold ones are 5 "original" bone in meat meals. And three boneless will be "converted" to bone in meat with bone meal. ( italic) Pay attention that I switched bone meal on wednesday - it is better to add it to hearts than to gizzards (which are quite hard to chew and they might not eat as much with bone meal added to it) Other are without bones or bone meal If necessary, we will add bonemeal to one or two meals.

Okay we got all of our meat so we will start tonight! We had to get chicken thighs instead of wings. Also, how much heart do we feed in a meal? We've been feeding 8.2 oz for a regular meal

Great! You will see, you might need to smash tight bones a little bit. They are bigger and harder than chicken wings. Heart you feed in the same amount as any other meal. It is basically the same as any other muscle meat, it has just an added value of being rich in taurine. Hope you guys had great Christmas! Please do some update on their weights & poops

We did have a merry Christmas, hope you did too! And geez, that's a lot of hearts! We're having a hard time collecting that many I will get pictures tonight (I just told him we needed to do that yesterday haha). They have been having runny poops since switching to chunks only even though we've been feeding bonemeal every meal

And I actually just noticed we don't have any turkey on the menu. I would like to add turkey breast somewhere if we can because they really enjoy that

we had a nice family christmas, together with my 93 years old grandpa. You can give turkey breasts instead of one pork boneless meal (and add bone meal, of course). I usually rather give pig or beef heart instead of chicken hearts, right because of the fact they are bigger and I just have to buy one piece (or more if they are pig's). Or turkey's hearts - they are also bit bigger then chicken ones.

Hmmm ... how much bone meal per how much meat do you give them?
Do they have that kind of poop after all kinds of meat or after just some proteins (which ones) or after some parts (which ones)? All of them or just Ghost?
Love them all, but Tyrion reminds me of my little fella Neo (the one in my avatar) who left us last summer. Give him a kiss for me. <3

Yeah we're going to have to order hearts online, all we can buy at the store is the packs that have gizzards and random number of hearts We've still been doing the 3/4 tbs. All their poop looks like that right now. I'm sorry about Neo I will give Tyrion a kiss hehe, he is our sweetest fuzzie

Happy new year! :christmastree: I am not really of help with resources of buying meat in US, I know other guys from States are also buying it on asian markets. You can use any kind of heart really, it does not have to be chicken's. How is it going with the menu? Are they eating everything? Having problems with any of the meals?

It is normal When they will eat whole bones - not smashed, there will be less pieces. One thing you can try is to put a piece of meat on the hook - i will try to find picture.

What does that do? So we have been separating Ghost from the others when feeding. He's gotten to the point where he will only take meat if one of the others have it and loud, screaming matches ensue... Also, yesterday was Tyrion and Stella's 1st birthdays! :boing:

Happy birthday, sweeties! And to much more to come! :christmaspresents: (dance) The "food wars" are happening to all raw feeders The best piece of meat/mice/egg/... is the one ferret beside you has in his mouth. But if works for you to feed them separately, it is ok. Can you post you menue, so that i can see where are we. How are they doing with the bones?
