I'm wanting to get ferrets in a month or two and was looking into raw feeding as it is the best option from my understanding, but I have questions? How many times a day would I feed my ferret, where do I find these meats, and what kinds would I feed ? I found a few good articles on this but most are for people in Australia .

Most of us feed two meals per day, which works well for a healthy ferret. You can feed just about any human grade meat, from a normal grocery when available, as long as it's not seasoned, adulterated (ie. some meats can have things like a saline solution added), etc. For variety you may have to go to a butcher or an ethnic market. There are lots of threads of completed diet switches here: holisticferret60.proboards.com/board/55/archivesYou can skim through some of those to get an idea about what foods and menu plans are commonly recommended.
