So, I searched Scale, and it brought up way too many posts to go through
(Mostly because its in the mentor application)
Anywho, I want to get a better scale for weighing my ferrets Any suggestions on this?

Food scale from WalMart. I have 2. One only goes up to 5 lbs so when I got the big boys I had to buy a second one. I think it goes to 10 lbs, maybe only 9 but I can weigh the big guys with it. A fish scale will work also. You can put them in a bag and hang the bag on the scale.

Hello Chibi.
I use a digital fish scale I got at wallmart. I put them int a drawstring bag and put the bag on the hook (it isn't sharp) and lift the scale. It was the only way I could get an accurate weight on them and they think its a game so it is fun for them.

I bought mine off Amazon but Walmart is cheaper. Another trick is to put one drop of oil on the scale. That will occupy them long enough to get a good weight.

I use a regular shipping/kitchen scale, and give my girls salmon oil (aka ferret crack) from an eyedropper. They've gotten so good at it, they will stand still on the scale on their own! My boy Ziggy is a little too big to balance on it on his own, so I usually put a bowl on the scale, zero out (tare) the scale with the bowl, then plop him into it.
