I've noticed that all three of my kids prefer to sleep in different ways. Riley will always prefer a pile of blankets, Enzo a hammock, and Ollie likes to lay out in the open curled up. Have you noticed where your kids like to sleep?? Side question: do ferrets like to sleep in the sun like cats? I know they're nocturnal but do they like that warmth too?

Nancy likes to ride around and sleep in my dressing gown pocket and Bandit like to drag a a roll of toilet paper and make a nest under the bath tub where I can get her so I have to wait for her to come out.

Merman tends to alternate between sleeping spots. One hour he will choose to sleep in his mini bed and the next we will find him in one of his cuddle pouches. He will only sleep in his hammock occasionally and has recently started sleeping in my boyfriends shirt ( If my boyfriend places him in it and Merman is tuckered out ).
We always leave Merman's carrier open and if there is a blanket or cuddle pouch in it he will go in there specifically to nap. I find it funny because as soon as you close the little door he wakes up and causes an uproar. He hates when the door is closed! (giggle)

When in the cage, all of my guys rotate sleeping spots. Sometimes its in the corner in their triangle hide hole, sometimes in the hammocks, in their octopus, under the blankets or on the bottom of their cage floor without anything lol. Outside of the cage the boys sleep in my draws, Haru prefers to sleep inside the couch (I gave up and let her have the couch s I suffered her blankets in there lol.)

Mine prefer their covered cages or a closed drawer. Abbey has slept under big pieces of furniture, that r low to floor and dark. Mine prefer blanket piles than hammock in cages.

Girls: Cuddle sacks or hanging tunnels. Cozy and dark...
Dexter: A hammock in the darker area in the cage or simply curled up onto a blanked.
Junior: When he was separated he chose a cuddle sack to sleep in. With Dexter he'll sleep where Dexter is taking a nap. For himself he would never sleep in a standard hammock... Mostly I will find them curled up onto a blanked next to our bed.

Mine sleep in alot of places but I often find them in strange places. Wynstan has his own bedroom that he is usually found in. It's our quest room and Roamy or Juliet will sleep with him in there alot. Keller likes Mika's couch in our upstairs sunroom. Mika decided that was her couch so Keller likes to sleep in there with Mika. Roamy and Juliet often choose a drawer in a converted dresser that is for Ferrets only. I never really know where they will show up and I'm losing ground while they take over more and more space. This drawer was my napkin drawer but now it has a blanket in it and is a favorite new spot. Here's Mika:

We have a dresser in our kitchen/dining area that has the coffee maker on top, office supplies in a cpouple drawers. The bottom drawer and the area under that is reserved for ferrets. We also have a box in every room with a hole in the side and bedding. They spend most afternoons and nights in their cage, where they have 2-3 hammocks, a hanging cube and a couple beds.

I normally find mine either in the big hammock in their cage, or in their sleeping bin of old T-shirts. But I'd like to think that their favorite sleeping spot is in my lap.
