Can someone show me the chick.
Do they have feathers? Am I wanting to do anything other than that and offer it? Will he eat it all or will I have a lot of scraps ??
Not sure I wanna give chick's buy trying to figure out treats and snacks

My ferrets absolutely LOVE chicks, it's their favorite thing besides mice. Chicks have feathers, but they're super teeny-tiny down feathers, good for cleaning out the digestive tract like fur. You'd only need to pluck them if he won't eat it with the feathers. Just pull on the feathers and they come off super easily. My ferrets eat everything: feathers, feet, beak, etc. I don't think I've ever found scraps from a chick, but your fuzzy might be different. Overall chicks are great treats. They normally contain egg yolk still though, so it could get messy. I have a couple of chick stains on my carpet, lol. If he doesn't mind the feathers, all you have to do to feed a chick is thaw and toss it to him!

Has anybody heard that they can get blockages from eating chicks---I thought I heard this. Not trying to scare anyone off from offering chicks

Not that I know of, unless there's already a floating blockage ciao

I feed chicks to the fezzas and to my cats and so far not had a problem... there is always the potential if not chewed properly but generally ferrets can't bite big enough chunks off a chick to cause a blockage unless they're really silly.

Even over exuberant kits who wolf their food seem to easy tolerate chicks. The problem is they fall nutritionally short of the mark but make awesome treats and I've found them great for helping clear fur out of the system ciao
