I took him to the vet and they gave me antibiotics when he was sick. He didn't really like the taste, but it worked and he was doing well until now
The circumstances so far are that since it's been cold outside the super of the apartment building turns up the heat. He always turns it up super high and it gets very hot in here. Now my ferret doesn't sleep in his hammock anymore he sleeps in the bottom near his poop. The top part near his rib cage is hard, and I cant't squish is like I usually can. He's eating good and he seemed to fine and was playing a lot earlier I don't know what happened. He was breathing pretty hard whiling sleeping too when I heard, I heard a loud whistling sound
At this point I am considering giving my fuzzy away. He will be missed but school is taking too much of my time and I can't stay with him . It would be better if I gave him to someone else who has the time for him.

Do you have a porch? Can you open a window and keep him near it? Have you spoken to the super about the heat being too high?

The super goes missing for days at a time. And he doesn't like to listen when people request changes. Last time we asked for help it took him weeks. I am not sure about that second part I am afraid to leave him near a window.

You could try blocking the heat vents and point a fan at an open window to blow hot air out.

you can try blocking the vents to make your apartment cooler. Heat worsens the effect of ammonia from waste, which causes breathing problems if too much builds up. You can also clean their waste more often to help as well (More work but every bit counts).

Most apartments I've lived in had a porch. And as long as his cage is secure, being near an open window shouldn't be dangerous. I agree with pushing the hot air out with a fan too.
