So both my boys have scabs on their back but due to being young and inquisitive they keeps squeezing under things and opening them and I don't see a solution other than restricting where they go, which obviously wouldn't be a great solution and would result in some very bored ferrets. The scabs seems to be healing okay, bar the interruptions and I'm keeping it disinfected with antiseptic cream but I wonder if anyone had any suggestions to speed it up?

Polysporin cream or Sudocrem Antiseptic healing cream.

Yeah I'm using Sudocrem since everyone was recommending it, but those pesky boys of mine keep squeezing under furniture and stuff. I think they should be fine in any case!

You could try making sweaters for them out of single socks, provided they don't try & eat it off. The sock would keep the cream in place until the skin has absorbed it. Take a sock, cut off the toe & cut holes for the arms in the area adjacent from the heel of the sock... I will post a picture. I made my ferrets sweaters out if Batman socks They didn't hate them... Didn't love me at that moment either

One point to keep in mind- if those spots hurt they'd not be doing anything to hurt again

I don't think its possible - Rolo unscabbed his implant site as well. Luckily it was already scabbing over again and its healing well so I'm just keeping an eye on it till it grow over. That's all you can do - be aware of it and clean it up as it opens.
