Yogi is a goof, idk if it's because he's young or not but I've never experienced a ferret like him! One of his quirks is he loves loves loves toys, especially ropes and furry plushes. He will play tug of war and chase like a dog (no fetching yet ;-) ). He loves running around with a long fuzzy plush in his mouth, almost like he's showing it all of his favorite spots. Oddly enough, he also LOVES being pet. It almost instantly knocks him out! I was concerned at first that he may be sick, but he's playing like a nut and is easily arousable when he's deep in his petting "trance". Pictures below! What are some goofy/odd things that your fuzzies do??

He sounds wonderful! Layla has one toy that she treats as a baby. She drags it into her hammock with her, and when she's on my bed and I squeak it she comes and grabs it from me as gentle as she can (normally chuckling as she's coming over) and she makes a sort of tunnel in my blankets before turning back around and dragging it in. Sometimes she then curls up and sleeps with it. She treats none of her other squeakies like this.

Yoshi would rather steal from another fert a treat than take it from us. Lola would rather climb up on the sofa and get it than take it while on the floor.

Awww, Yogi is so cute! The only "quirks" I can think of is that Sunny loves digging water out of the bowl and Katie likes to bite.

Lol yeah, maybe "bad habits" is a more accurate term than "quirks."

Quirks are typically referring to negative behaviors. I wouldn't call my kids behaviors quirks. But as far as odd fetishes go I do have a little girl who loves to steal dirty socks (she skips past clean ones). One of my boys loves anything and everything leather (belts, wallet, shoes). And Molly my ginger loves to shred toilet paper.

Quirks are typically referring to negative behaviors. Not so. Quirks are just odd, unusual, peculiar behaviors particular to an individual. noun 1. a peculiar behavioral habit. "his distaste for travel is an endearing quirk" synonyms: idiosyncrasy, peculiarity, oddity, eccentricity, foible, whim, vagary, caprice, fancy, crotchet, habit, characteristic, trait, fad; informalhang-up Kenai always stacks his fuzzy balls in a line or in a tidy pile in a corner. They are always nice and neat, never haphazardly hidden. (giggle)

My ferrets all have their own quirks. Lilith has a "family" of rats from IKEA that has to be in certain places (but that's probably a a pretty standard ferret-quirk) Sid licks my thumb when i'm carrying him when he want's to go down on the floor again. Sid also has a "girlfriend" their relationships isnt as serious now as it was when he weas in heat, but I still see them cuddling together from time to time.. it's also a rat from IKEA but the bigger kind than Liliths rats.
Gremlin has a certain fondness of electric cords, usually when they are not in the wall socket but on the floor (since I have to take them out all the time so he doesn't get electrocuted) and often when they are in a new place, the "old" cords he already knows, but if i'm using the vaccuum cleaner and moves the cord it's interesting again.

I have a ninja fuzzle who scales a triple storey hutch to get at the small brush from my dustpan & brush I store there. Its then thrown down and stashed somewhere hidden and everyday I have to hunt for it to clean out the ferret's house. I have ten ferrets and no idea who does it lol They only do it while I'm out at work lol
