Yeah, she is happier too. She is back to eating all of her food again, instead of leaving nearly all of it in her cage. But I have had to scale herback a little bit because she was eating way too much. After eating 2 cups of food a day, she is down to just 1/2 cup of food a day. And she seems much more energetic since cutting her back. Before, she spent most of her time sleeping off all of the food that she engorged herself with. Plus she has a huge new cage with tons of new toys to play with.

Looking at that, I'd have almost thought she'd gotten into some gold wrapping paper or some such.

She would have had to have gotten gold dust. It wasn't like solid objects within her poo, it was the poo. It never happened again, but it was crazy. Her entire poop was gold. She is such a silly little girl. But I thought of something... I did try a week or so before this happened to change her litter from the paper to some that was made from grass. It's a pale yellow but ended up ditching it almost immediatly due to the fact she dug it all out and flung it everywhere. Maybe she found some that I didn't get to and ate it? That's the only thing that was really different. Btw, it's been a couple of weeks since the litter box turned dig box, and I'm still vacuuming up the mess. Silly little girl. She had a blast.
